Blind DateThe night I met my wife on a real blind date inspired me to make this diptych. There were many things that happened that evening that are depicted in this painting, like the snow outside. Interestingly, there are other subtle relationships evident in this painting that were premonitions of things to come. In several of my paintings, I find things that seem to be telling the future, though there was no intention for the work to accomplish this. Art is more than just a picture. — Blind Date
